Hi Allison, please dont relate the word diet to weight loss only .. dieting means eating the rite type of food from rite sourses for your current condition, which will enhance your health in the future. hence while you are dieting during pregnancy, make sure you are providing enuf nutrient pool to your baby, as the requirements of certain nutrients double up during pregnancy. but choose rite food. for the better development of the baby !
exercising will help in minimising the complication of a general pregnancy. maintain your blood pressure and sugar levels to normal.
