    "Focus on breathing
    Sometimes this one works; you will notice less discomfort and less whining from the mind about the body not feeling quite energized. You will feel ready enough to continue running."

    Yes. Provided you maintain calories burnt is greater than calories consumed(which should not be lessthan 1500 cal).
    You may loose up to 1 pound depending up on your weight and speed of running.
