    Hi Anil,

Even i have heard that a minimum of 2 - 2.5 hrs gap should be there between ur last meal and ur sleep timings. So i think anytime between 8 - 8:30pm should be ideal. I had read somewhere that it is said so because our metabolism will be quite low by the end of the day (even that must be tired workin the whole day). So as much as we delay it, it becomes that difficult for our body to digest it.

    Hi Madhu,

Even i have read in many articles that eating non veg is bad as it contains something known as saturated fats which increases the cholesterol levels. But i have also heard that non veg has good amounts of protein, so avoiding it completely might also not be good. So i think u can have chicken or fish (no red meat) in any dry form like grilled/ roasted/ tandoori/ baked form.

People with high blood sugar should avoid any kind of a fruit juice as it adds on the blood sugar count. instead choose whole fruits and that too should not be eaten with the meals .. they should be eaten in between 2 major meals ...

People who chose medications and pills or powders and shakes as a answer to weight loss, lose weight initially but regain the entire weight back once off these things .. Weight recycling is more dangerous than being overweight.

Detox diets encourage a low-fat, high-fiber diet, cut back on caffeine and alcohol and promote a healthier way of life. So it can be done once in 10 - 15 days.. This also helps in cutting down on some weight but we should not depend on them to lose weight, boz if taken on a long run the body will be deprived of some major nutrients like protein, carbs, etc..

Hi Sush, For Grey hair - Add freshly grated ginger to honey and store it in a bottle. Give him 1tsp of this ginger-honey mix daily. This will help in premature graying.

Hi Ramya - Cabbage soup diet cannot be used as a long term weight loss program as u can see the disadvantages of it, and the most important of it is the lack of nutrients.. Once in 2 - 3 months, the 7 day plan can be followed..

Binge eating leads to a wide variety of physical, emotional, and social problems. People with binge eating disorder report more health issues, stress, insomnia, and suicidal thoughts than people without an eating disorder. Depression, anxiety, and substance abuse are common side effects as well. Binge eating also interferes with a person’s relationships and career. For example, you may skip work, school, or social activities in order to binge eat. But the most prominent effect of binge eating disorder is weight gain.

Even i have tried searchin for an alternate for vegetarians and they have mentioned that we have white rice (double heated in a microwave over/ iron kadai) or brown rice..

But if we consider non veg like chicken/ fish to be a high protein food, it can be replaced by either paneer/ soya for vegetarians..
