These kinds diet leads to vitamin/mineral deficiencies, giddiness due to extreme calorie cutting. Burns off lean muscle mass. Also causes depression/irritability. So its always better to go with balanced diet n exercises for weight loss.

start with Anulom Vilom. Continue with Cooling Pranayams like Sheethali, Seethkari, Sadanta which helps in reduction of BP. And finally Bhramari should be practiced to enhance the relaxation. But make sure that all the pranayams practiced under the guidance of an experienced yoga instructor.

Hi Neha, Ayurveda also recommend this because of its benefits (which are mentioned by Payal). Ayurveda says Kokum removes 'Pittaja Vikara' ie stimulates liver or bile functions which speeds up the process of detoxicification n thus helps in weight loss.

hi Ramesh, in case of diabetes more than avoiding fruits, portion control is very important. Because even a larger portion of acceptable fruits can increase your Sugar level. And also there are some fruits which r rich in fiber n doesn't increase sugar level much.
u can take guava, jamun, fig, kiwi fruit, apples, citrus fruits, pomegranate. n Fruits like bananas, mango, grapes, strawberry, custard apple should be avoided.

Hi Nararayan, here are few home remedies:
    1. Mix cream, lime juice, few drops of honey and apply the paste on face n wash after half an hour
    2. Orange peel powder, barley powder, gooseberry powder with sesame oil also helps.
    3. Rubbing a coat of lemon or Ground Almonds with honey, lime and little milk improves the complexion.
But never use fairness cream as it reduces the number of melanocytes which protects the skin from UV rays of Sun.
