    Karthik Iyer,
It is a very much relative term, some where in this website you have written you do skipping...before answering your question i would like to know couple of details from you then what i say will be of some help...
1)How many skipping you do...and how many you can do in 5 mnts with 1 or 2 break of 20 seconds in between?
    2)Do you do cycling?
    3) what is your fitness level (i mean are you over-weight or...?)
    4) Do you work with weights (i mean strength training..?)

    Swathi Chopra,
These are some of the life style changes i have adopted to maintain the weight and not to increase it....
1)I use only stairs instead of lift even it is 15 story plus...
2)Park the car/bike little for from where i need to go and walk down....
3)Consicously keep drinking water now and then....
4)While using the cell phone not to stand in one place...
5)Eat atleast 3 hours before i go to sleep...
I can just go on and on...do reply if you want to know more....all the best keep rocking.

    Deeksha,
I completely agree with whatever said above...yes it makes sense...however i this what has worked for me....
1)A clearly defined Goal with the emotions what it brings when you achieve that goal.
2)Dnt think of you will not eat this for so many days and so many months...then it becomes very difficult to keep it going....Live Just a Day...only today am not going to eat this...that is how i stopped having coffee 6 years back...i was like a person cnt live without coffee.
3)Each time when you feel like eating something what you dnt want to eat...eat a fruit...it does wonders.
Do let me the progress what you are making and difficulty what you are facing...all the very best.

    Hi Deeksha,
Read the above mentioned link and the article....most probably will answer all your ur doubts...what is not covered there is....something about physical activity...
Not necessary u need to go to zym to loose weight....that provides a positive environment and u will get like minded friends....and a complete body workout....
If you can do walk/jog whenever time permits may not be that useful...one thing wt i hv understood it is all about deliberate practice....and need to do it every single day...like brushing our teeth...we never miss....
Let me throw some light on couple of physical activities what u can do at house and that can help u manage ur weight....
    ¤Climbing the steps
    ¤skipping
¤push-ups [many diff types one can perform]
    ¤squats
    ¤lifting the light weight
    ¤crunches
    ¤pull-ups
    ¤leg rise
¤cycling in a laying down position
i can go on and on....whatever mentioned above will really help to u do loose fat, gain muscle and manage ur weights....
Do let me know about the progress and difficulty u r facing...all the very best...keep it going.
