Women, Pick the Right Perfume for Every Occasion

By LifeMojo Team / September 17, 2011

An occasion comes and we tend to turn our cupboard upside down. Any sort of dissatisfaction is often nullified with considerable investments at shopping malls. It seems that we are always ready to find an excuse to pamper our shopping mania. And there will be other necessities alongside the clothing requirements. There has to be a perfect pair of shoes, a perfect bag, a perfect hair style, a perfect watch and last but not the least, the perfect fragrance.

Women, Pick the Right Perfume for Every Occasion

You are often related by the smell you carry. Your entire getup and makeover may receive a "thumbs down" if you are not able to impress the social crowd around you with your fragrance. And, you may need to maintain a collection of fragrances because one scent may not suit every occasion. Here's something to help you out with your choice:

While Going for a Date

Men just turn mad with rich aromas that generate from a woman's body. And you are free to show your generosity in such a hot occasion. Floral and fruity scents are perfect, but you may also consider spraying some oriental fragrances as well. The smell of roses and cider may haunt your man's senses, but you may also experiment with vanilla at the same time.

While Going for a Walk in the Natural Surroundings

When you are in the midst of nature, then you will obviously try to mix up with it. The perfume that you need at this moment will be soft and serene and fresh just like the air and nature around you. Fragrances of cut grass, spring, cedar and sandalwood are the perfect fits.

While Heading for an Employment Interview

You cannot afford to use a strong smelling perfume while attending a job interview. Going light on a natural scent may earn you the reputation of an active, career oriented woman.

While Attending a Business Meeting

It is better to go light on the choice of the aroma intensity if you are to attend a business meeting. But you may carry on with a stronger smell if the meeting has been organized at a hotel. You are free to choose floral or fruity smells for less conventional meetings, but in that case, you will need to complement the scent with a casual dressing and not with the typical business suit.

While Enjoying at a Rock Concert

At a rock concert, you are likely to be surrounded by many people. A strong perfume may make people stay away from you. In such a case, you will need a strong deodorant to keep you fresh in the midst of your dances, jumps and leaps. Your wish list should include lavender and forest-like scents.

Occasions are the best times to show off your "smells". And see the fragrances are so "giving" - the feeling of freshness or confidence does not stay within you only - rather it emanates to your surroundings, thereby touching others' senses while calming them down.
