Baggy eyes may also result from other factors related to health conditions, lifestyle patterns and stress. These are:

  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Smoking
  • Drinking habit

  • Put Potato or Cucumber Slices on Your Eyes: Regularly using potato or cucumber slices on your eyes will help you to fight puffiness as well as dark circles around the eyes.
  • Treat Your Eyes With Frozen Tea Bags: Placing frozen tea bags on closed eyes for 10 to 15 minutes will go a long way to reduce the swelling in the under-eye area. You may use sage broth, chamomile tea, green tea and black tea for this purpose.
  • Apply a Mixture of Rosewater and Witch Hazel: Combine equal proportions of rose water and witch hazel and apply the mixture on your eyes. Allow it to stay for 15 minutes and then wash off.
  • Apply a Cold Compress of Water or Milk: Apply a cold compress with water or milk on your closed eyelids and limit this session to 15 minutes. This treatment will produce a cooling effect on your eyes.
