Of all the investment one would ever imagine, a fitness program will be the most advantageous one. On the pilgrimage to get the perfect body, there are many hurdles which would be discouraging. But there are many benefits of getting a fit body which would stand above the hurdles that one would confront.

10 Reasons to Invest on Fitness
  1. Gain Confidence: The time and money invested on fitness would help you in gaining confidence. After hours of rigorous work, you would have a feeling of accomplishment. It also gives the feeling that you can push past the limits of life and progress towards the goals. This awesome feeling would generate confidence to all corners of your body and mind.
  2. Fit Body: It is a known fact that regular exercise would bring you an attractive stature. Regular exercise would not only help you in losing extra weight, but it would also make you functionally fit, meaning that it would help you to perform daily activities (such as carrying groceries, doing chores, or picking up and carrying a child) without any difficulties.
  3. Role Model: In one way or the other, everyone is expected to be a role model to someone. Regardless of what they are, they are bound to be a role model, either by being a father, mother, mentor, or teacher. People find some pleasure in being a role model, so it is important to keep an eye on the health aspect for being a role model.
  4. Build Brain Power: Regular exercise helps in the flow of oxygen to the brain cells. As the oxygen flow into the brain and to the muscles and the body, the muscle and body would generate more thinking capability and thus lead to a stress free life.
  5. Energy Level: Feeling tired and lethargic? Get some exercise. It helps move oxygen to the farthest points of the body, and more oxygen means more energy. Women, who participated in an American Heart Association research, showed that 10 minutes of brisk walking for a week resulted in greater energy levels in comparison to their inactive peers.
  6. Social contact: The impact of exercise in enhancing the social contact is undeniable. It would prepare you for playing tennis with a friend or to play sport in a team. Even a simple walk with friends would generate good relationship in addition to tuning the body muscles.
  7. Getting Proper Sleep: There are a variety of hormones which are released from the body while doing exercise. These hormones help you to relax, there by improving your sleeping ability. But avoid exercising just before the bed time as your body needs some time to wind down.
  8. Enhances Mood: Exercise can also help to boost your mood. When you exercise, your body releases certain "feel good" chemicals, called endorphins. These tell your body to get out of the gloomy state it is in. You will instantly feel better, less anxious or depressed.
  9. Disease Prevention: Getting enough exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Health experts believe that people who exercise live longer, on average, than those who don't. Regular exercise strengthens your heart and helps reduce your blood pressure. This helps lower your risk of dying from heart disease and stroke. Many studies have shown that regular exercise can reduce your risk of many diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis (brittle bones disease), breast cancer and colon cancer.
  10. Co-ordination and Balance: Children do lot of things that would demonstrate coordination and balance. But when they grow up, they abandon all these and adopt an imbalanced and stressful life. Exercise can improve the coordination and balance leading to a better life.
