Thai Cabbage Salad Recipe

Cabbage is cheap and full of antioxidants, potassium, folic acid and vitamins like vitamin B6 and vitamin C. Carrots are added for sweetness and provide beta-carotenes.

Ingredients (Makes 2 Serving)

  • 3.5 tbsp Fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Ground fresh chili paste
  • 1/2 tsp Minced fresh garlic
  • 1 bag Shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup Shredded carrot
  • Green-leaf lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Pour the lime juice and soy sauce in a small jar. Add the chili paste and garlic and shake well to mix. Set aside.
  2. Place shredded cabbage and carrot in a bowl. Mix well. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss to mix.
  3. Serve on lettuce leaves.
