Ragi (Finger millet) Roti Recipe
Finger millet / Ragi is an annual plant widely grown as a cereal in the arid areas of Asia. Its plain healthy and can be eaten with just anything.

Ingredients (Makes 6 Serving)
- 8 heapful tbsp of whole wheat flour
- 4 heapful tbsp of ragi (finger millet) flour
- Salt - 1 tsp
- 2 tbsp oil
- Water
Instructions
- Mix everything. Add some water bit by bit until it rolls into a ball and becomes non sticky dough. May add some drops of olive oil too.
- Make 6 lemon sized balls with the dough.
- Roll out into discs of 12 cm in diameter.
- Heat a flat nonstick pan. When it is hot, put one roti on top and brown on both sides or hold a roti for about half a second directly into an open flame or grill and it will puff up with steam like a balloon.
- Serve hot with any subji.
