Low Calorie Badam Phirni Recipe

Ingredients (Makes 4 Serving)
- Rice (red rice) - 5 tbsp
- Skimmed milk - 5 cups
- Almonds, blanched & crushed – 8 to 10
- Jaggery (gur) / Sweetener, grated – 4 tbsp
- Green cardamom (elaichi) powder - 1/2 tsp
- Rose water - 1 tsp
- Pista blanched silvered – 4 to 6
Instructions
- Soak the rice in the water for 30 mins.
- Remove the water from rice & grind it to make a smooth paste.
- Dilute the rice paste in water in half cup of water and keep aside. Boil milk in a non-stick saucepan.
- Reduce heat and add the diluted rice mixture into milk.
- Cook on medium flame for about five minutes or till the mixture thickens. Stir continuously.
- Add jaggery, crushed almonds and green cardamom powder.
- Reduce heat and cook till jaggery has completely dissolved.
- Remove from heat & mix with rose water.
- Pour into separate serving bowls.
- Garnish with Pista.
- Chill it in the refrigerator for an hour before serving.
