Q: My friend who is running with me for the past 3 weeks is having some discomfort in hips after running for a couple of kms. Not sure if it is muscle cramp/pull. But the pain goes away after sometime. Why is this happening and what should he do to overcome? Thanks. Murali.

A: @ Murali For beginners , it will happen some times after sudden running . Thus start up ur running with warm up exercise , try to start for 20mins than gradually you can increase ur timings If you are not beginners then better to consult any doctor.
