Q: Please explain if ther is any difference between Weight loss and fat loss?
A: Weight Loss is the loss in your body-weight - the sum weight of your bones, muscles, organs, body fat and water in the body. Fat Loss is the loss in your body fat - the amount of fat your body carries. Healthy goals are 12-20% body fat for men and 18-25% for women.
Weight Loss and Body Volume Loss
Q: Hi ,
I am a 28 yrs old working women and 3 months back I was 72 kgs.With the help of an diet consultant I able to reduce 10 kgs.
But though I lost 10kgs , people around me are telling that I do not look like I lost 10 kgs.So weight loss is there but probably that much volume loss is not there.My outfit size has been reduced by 2 sizes.
So I want to know how much body volume loss should I expec...
A: Hi, Volume is there because you have just lost the fat (I don't know whether u used pure diet or other unnatural methods). What u need now is a toned body - which will automatically result in volume loss. Start doing some basic strength exercises, or do Yoga to tone up the muscles wherever you have lost the fat.
A: To loose weight for men , along with walk w also need to include some resistance exercises like push ups, chest pull over , crunch etc which will help to build some muscles and give a good shape to body.Atleast need to do walk or jog for 20-30 min and exercises for atleast 30 min
