How to RUN 10k runs.....???
Q: Hi, How much time it takes to prepare for 10k run.....who can run....what level of fitness is crutial to run your first 10k run.....i request each and everyone of you to share, help run 10k....???

A: I got no idea. All I'm planning is to increase my treadmill running threshold to 10 KM by 15th April( from current 5 KM) and start running on ground/parks, over weekends. May be figure out some place like Lalbagh/Cubbon park etc in Bangalore and go there. May be all 10k runners from BLR should make a group and meet over weekends for jogging etc...

A: Don't set unrealistic goal.If anyhow you will be able to achieve, that will not be sustainable .And if you will not be able to achieve then you will feel demotivated. Sunfeast World 10K-May 2010-Bangalore Run....!!!
Q: Hi, How many of you are started preparing for the above Run that will be held during this May....and what completion timing are you Focusing on....???

A: I couldn't participate in the run last year. I had to go out of Bangalore for a friend's wedding. I trained for the run though. My target was to complete it with-in 60 minutes. Usually I take around 66-70 minutes to complete 10K. This year again, my target would be 60 minutes.
