Q: Sounds strange but true, the more you fret about weight loss the less likely it is going to fall, so cheer up, go slow and 1 year of consistent weight loss is far better than a lifetime of dieting !

A: I was interested to know how soup at night can increase water retention, surely drinking is good for hydration. If soup is bad, are you saying generally, don't eat at night.
