What Is Considered High Blood Pressure?

A: There are two different stages for high blood pressure- stage 1-when the diastolic blood pressure ranges between 90-99 mm/Hg and the systolic pressure is between 140-159 mm/Hg. stage 2-when the diastolic blood pressure is 100 mm/Hg or more and the systolic pressure is 160 mm/Hg and more. Both these stages require medical intervention.
