Sex, alcohol and drugs are all provocative. But this does not signify that these three provocations will go hand in hand. If you think that you can indulge in a great deal of sexual activity or get pleasure out of sex while basing your lifestyle on alcohol and drugs, then you may be living under a "filmy" influence. You may only notice the synchronization in colorful movies. And this fact has been reinforced by a present research which has claimed that unhealthy lifestyle factors like high alcohol intake, tobacco use and use of hard drugs, weight issues and physical inactivity may cause men to experience sexual dysfunction.

Researchers at the Statens Serum Institute studied the survey data pertaining to 5,552 men and women from Denmark. The subjects fell in the age group of 16 to 97 years. The study, which was initiated in 2005, intended to find a relation between lifestyle factors and sexual dysfunction.
It was found that unhealthy lifestyle factors increased the probability of not having a partner-related sex life by almost 78 percent in men and 91 percent in case of women. In case of men who had a sexual partner, the sexual dysfunction risk was found to be greater in men who led an unhealthy life and had a considerably increased waist perimeter. And the same risk was found to be more than 800 percent in men who used hard drugs.
Female hashish users were found to be thrice as likely to experience anorgasmia, the difficulty to reach sexual climax, in comparison to those who do not use it. The researchers hope that people leading an unhealthy lifestyle may now get encouraged to bring some positive changes like quitting smoking, drinking less alcohol, working out more and losing weight.
Some reasons of sexual dysfunction are unavoidable. Some of these include the after-effects of cancer treatments and the consequences of injuries. But a greater percentage of the destiny is in people's hands. They can change it the way they like. They have to choose their priorities - leading life to the fullest or staying amidst hallucinations.
