To make exercise a habit, do a variety of activities like weight lifting, walking, running, tennis & cycling.

Doing the same things over and over again can get a bit boring. Also, you may be less likely to get injured if you change your exercise routine. Walk one day. Bicycle the next. This will keep your interest in your exercise program.
