To ensure intestinal health, you must do a light detox diet once in a fortnight.

On the detox diet day, avoid all heavy foods like meat, poultry, eggs, heavy paneer, dals, pickles, colas etc. Have lots of fruits, vegetable juices, soups with herbs and a light vegetable dalia (Indian Porridge) or khichdi for lunch. Try to drink lukewarm water on that day.
