If you often feel depressed in winter season, try to spend some amount of time outside every day, even when it's very cloudy.

Feeling depressed in the winter season is related to chemical imbalance in brain due to lack of daylight, known by the condition "seasonal affective disorder (SAD)". Outdoor light can help lower your symtoms, especially if you spend some time outside within two hours of getting up in the morning.
