If you have diabetes, inspect your feet regularly for blisters, cuts, and sores to avoid infection or foot amputation.

Sores on the feet of people woth type 2 diabetes can develop into such severe wounds that sometimes amputation of the foot is needed. If you have diabetes, check your feet every day and see your doctor immediately if you see swelling or redness in your foot.
