Health Tip for 23 March, '10

If you are diabetic, get your teeth cleaned & checked by a dentist at least once every 6 months. Diabetics are much more prone to gum disease.

People with diabetes are more likely to have problems with their teeth and gums because of high blood glucose. If you have trouble chewing or any signs of dental disease, including a bad taste in your mouth, bad breath, bleeding, sore or swollen gums, or loose teeth, see your dentist right away.
