If you are diabetic, eat spinach (palak) regularly to stabilize your blood sugar and prevent it from fluctuating too much.

Spinach is high in magnesium, which a large study suggests can help prevent complications that occur following diabetes and also help prevent the development of type 2 diabetes. Magnesium is also found in other leaft green vegetables, nuts and fish.
