Health Tip for 05 April, '10

For better digestion, get into the habit of eating vegetables first, then the starches (potatoes & bread) and meat last.

Meat is high in protein and fats which take the longest to digest. If you eat vegetables or starches after meat then they will sit on top of the meat in the stomach and begin to ferment before your body has the time to digest them. This will cause gas to build inside of you. It is best to eat vegetables first as they are easily digestible.
