Health Tip for 06 October, '10

Eat a handful of almonds (badam) every day. They can help lower your bad cholesterol levels by 8 to 12 percent.

Almonds are a good source of monounsaturated fats and some polyunsaturated fats which help to lower the low-density lipoprotein (LDL or "bad" cholesterol). However, they are also high in calories. So, only have them in moderation.
