Diet control and walking daily are the best ways to keep the flab away.

Exercise has a hormonal influence on the body because it sensitises the cells to insulin. Therefore diabetics are encouraged to walk regularly. Those who have a metabolic disorder may not lose weight with exercise alone. However exercise helps promote blood circulation, helps detoxification, improves muscle tone. Women should avoid weights as it builds muscles that are not required to a large extent, hence its safest to just walk the calories away!
