Avoid drinking water or other drinks with your meals. Have a glass of lukewarm water after the meal to aid digestion.

The digestive juices secreted by the stomach get washed down with the water or drink that may accompany the meal. As a result, the food which should get digested properly and in its time, just gets pushed down with the flow of the water and reaches the stomach without being digested properly.
If you can not avoid, drink wine or fresh lime with water instead of aerated drinks with meals. Aerated drinks create gaseous discomfort, thus increasing the weight. Wines are equally compatible with Indian food.

Have a glass of lukewarm water after the meal to aid digestion.
