Health Tip for 09 March, '10

Try to eat your vegetables as close to their natural state as possible. But if they require cooking, try not to overcook them.

Raw vegetables are rich in minerals, vitamins, trace elements, enzymes and natural sugars. Also, eating raw translates into eating higher fiber, which improves digestion and elimination processes of the body. Overcooking can easily destroy the important nutrients in the vegtables, in addition to making them bland and soggy.
