Weight Excercise for Women

Hi ...
I am 29 yrs old and 54 kgs.To tighten my muscles, I have started doing some weight training for hands and thighs. Now, after 5-6 months, my hands and legs are toned up and in much better shaped. But I heard that doing weight training makes a woman's body bulky and guy-like masculine. Is it true ? or just a myth ? Along with cardio , how much weight training shall I do in gym ( 4-5 days a wk) ?

Please help me ....
Thanks in advance

    Hi ,
Its a myth that our body becomes bulky after weight training exercises.Your body be well toned by doing weight training exercises and if you take protein supplements along with weight training then you will tend to put on muscle mass but that wont cause bulky body or masculine body. For guys ,its happens just because of the male hormones which are not present in ladies. If this would be the case then, how the actresses have maintained their toned body without getting masculine body? So dont worry and keep up with your workout

It is a pure myth that weight training if done by women makes them heavily built & masculine.Women, who do weight training develop better contours & stay healthy coz it leads2increse in bone density & helps2burn off calories.Women, just dont have the required hormones to achieve muscle hypertrophy which are Testesterones(Male growth hormones).Even, males like me find it difficult2gain bigger muscles, leave alone women(LOLZZZZ).A combination of cardios+weights+flexibilty tarinind is considered ideal.Talk,to a renowned expert on training & wellness & fitness.Dont, fall for such myths. All bollywood actresses pump iron & luk @thr physiques.
