    over a period of time it is natural for men and women both to lose the muscle tone they once had. the major reason behind this is sedentary lifestyle and lack of pphysical activity , and in women pregnancy. getting rid of the abdominal fat isnt too easy. it takes months of dedicated low calorie diets and hours of exercising and sweating up.only a combination of a good healthy and nutritious but at the same time low calorie diet and a good workout can get you the expected results.

    You can do the following to get rid of belly fat.
    *Introduce belly fat exercises into your fitness regimen. Try yoga, pilates or any activity that includes strengthening and building of your core stomach muscles. If you don't like to participate in weekly aerobic classes walking long distances to get rid of abdominal fat.
    *Keep your insulin levels steady to get rid of belly fat in women. Avoid simple carbohydrates like potatoes, sugar and white flour. These foods may turn belly fat cells in your body into abdominal fat tissues. Eat whole grains, foods rich in monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs)like avocados and olive oil, and healthy snacks to keep your insulin levels stabilized.
    *Add core-building abdominal exercises to your daily workout. Strengthening your core muscles is a great method to get rid of belly fat. Popular exercises that improve posture are isometric leg lifting plank exercises and the lying butt bridge.
    Thus by following a low calorie,low carbohydrate,low fat,high fiber diet and at the same time doing exercises will help you to loose belly fat.

    eat right and burn more calories .. its often a problem for us women to go orunning or jogging , specially if we happen to be overweight , we dont really feel comfortable in doing so .. i have resumed to spot jogging and twisting jumps , and they have seemed to have helped me over all ...

    Hi Sarah,
    To get rid of belly fat you need to cut down your body fat percentage. There are 3 ways to do so:
    1. Low caloric diet
    2. Exercises
    3. Combination of both exercises and low caloric diet.
    The best and effective one is combination of both go for aerobic exercises where you can burn more calories to get good result. along with aerobic exercises do some toning exercises to shapen up your abs. keep a check on diet, remembers calories plays a main role.

    Hi sarah......you should try belly dancing it really helps in losing belly fat.....at the same time avoid junk food and drink lots of water.
