Yes, eating with in the calorie budget will help. You have a decent goal. It is not too aggressive. Walking in the night is good. If you are not able to walk much, have a light dinner. See : http://www.lifemojo.com/forums/weight-loss/how-to-reduce-weight-6145815 to know more on losing weight

Please help me to understand this : Hw do I calculate mine?? I am confused..

Take your BMR number, add your activity calories and then subtract your food calories from that total. If you're eating more than you're burning, (your BMR + activity is 1800 and you're eating 2000 calories) you'll gain weight. If you're burning more than you eat, you'll lose weight. As an example, if you are burning 500 calories more than you eat, you would lose 1 pound in a week, as you would have had burnt 3500 calories in a week. Remember? 1 pound of fat = 3500 calories. However, you should also take these calories from the right sources of food, because making the food balanced is also necessary.

Let me try to explain !

To lose weight, you would need to understand your daily calorie requirement. If you eat lesser calories than your daily requirements, it results in weight-loss. You can find out your daily calorie budget as per your weight-loss goal at http://www.lifemojo.com/my-journey

All you have to do is to eat with-in your calorie budget. You can increase your calorie budget by doing exercise. The site also tells you the calories in various food items.

    1. Calorie budget is the amount of calories you can consume to achieve your weight goal. It is calculated when you Start your Journey on LifeMojo. It is based on your current weight, height, target goals etc.

    2. Once you log-in to LifeMojo, you land on myMojo Page. On this page, under calories tab, you can see how you have been doing in the past 7 days. It shows you your calorie budget, calories consumed and calories burnt in one shot.

    3. If you haven't been able to follow your budget for a long time, you can click on "Restart your Journey" link on MyMojo page and the system will re-calculate your calorie budget as per your updated data and fitness goals.

    4. On myMojo page, Click on the "Track Diet" icon on the left top under the navigation menu. Track your diet, running, walking or any other activities on a daily basis. You can fix a schedule once in a day and track your data for the entire day. Night time is best to track for your entire day.

    5. Under the "Diet" Tab, You can see your calorie budget for the current day, current week and your status in the current week. It tells you whether you are on track, ahead of your target or behind your target for the current week.

    6. To achieve your fitness goals, you need to follow you calorie budget for the week. If you over-shoot your budget one day, you can compensate for it on the next day.You can exercise more to increase your budget.

You can track your activities at My Journey -> Track -> Activities.

More exercise you add, you budget would increase.
