What is the best weight loss diet for non-vegetarians?

I have heard a lot that non-vegetarian diet is not overall good for weight loss, but I cannot resist eating non-veg. So please tell me a diet for weight loss which includes some non-veg.

    Hi Madhu,

    Even i have read in many articles that eating non veg is bad as it contains something known as saturated fats which increases the cholesterol levels. But i have also heard that non veg has good amounts of protein, so avoiding it completely might also not be good. So i think u can have chicken or fish (no red meat) in any dry form like grilled/ roasted/ tandoori/ baked form.

    Non-vegetarians need to include a lot of fibres in their diet. Because the non-veg foods and generally low in fibre content.

    Non- vegetarians is full of protein & fat but lack of fibers, vitamins & minerals. Eating more non- veg foods can increases the fat in ur body & high intake of protein foods also leads to some of health benefits. Animal protein is also important to our health so limit the consumption with healthy cooking styles. You can take chicken of fish or egg white daily in the lunch time( limited amount)- Include more of veg salad, whole grains, high fibers cereals, fruits.
