Fat free milk is a type of milk that has lesser levels of fat. This is a form of packaged milk from which all form fat has been removed. This enables the person drinking it to be free of weight gain. Skimmed milk is also another type and this is ideal for babies and indeed for most mammals. They reduce the risk of diseases in small mammals as well. The fat content of fat free milk is less than 2.5% and it is prepared by removing the upper layer of fat from any type milk. Fat milk can be made from the milk of cows, buffaloes and goat.

Fat free milk is definitely not milk with water. Fat free milk is a dairy product with an extremely low fat percentage. Products labeled as “Fat free milk” have less than 0.5% fat.
