What i need to do to lose weight?

    To reduce weight we need to look after diet and the exercises.The best exercises for weight loss is Cardio activities. Cardio activities includes Running ,Brisk Walk, Jogging, Swimming, Skipping, etc. Do these exercises atleast for 40 min 5/week so as to get better results. These types of exercises will help to reduce fat from the body and help reducing weight. But cardio exercises alone wont help to tone up the body instead we need to also include some resistance training exercises like Crunches, Reverse crunches, Heel touch, Rowing, Konasana, Lunges, Squats ,etc. We need to do these exercises atleast for 20 min 3/week .These exercises will help reducing the fat and tone up the muscles so as to give a good shape to our body.

    I agree with Nicholas. Cardio exercises plays an important part to reduce your body fat percentage.

    I agree with above discussion but combination exercise & diet works more effective for weight loss.

    Diet tips:
    * Have Small Regular meals. Dont give a gap of 2 or more hrs between your meals. Take in btw healthy snacks.
    * Add fruits and salads to your diet. They are not only good source of Vitamins and Antioxidants, but are also a good source of Fibre that is required for bowel movements and Digestion.
    * Add Beans, Ridge gourd and Bottle gourd to your diet. They are an excellent source of fibre.
    * Eat Apple and Guava regularly.
    * Always watch 'what and how much' you are eating. You are the best guide to yourself. Thats means portion control of meals should be maintain.
    * Exercise regularly. Even a small walk after dinner makes a huge difference. It is also important to change the exercises that you do regularly.
    * Lastly, Cut down eating refined foods- Processed foods, Maida based products, synthetic based supplements and confectioneries.
    * Choose healthy cooking habits like steaming, grilled, boiling, pressure cooking. micro- oven.
    * Drink plenty of water in a day.
