i can give you some tips to lose weight.
    #1 – Getting Enough Sleep
You might not be aware of this, but getting enough sleep is an integral part to losing weight.
    #2 – Stress, Stress, Stress
Stress is one of the main reasons that people gain weight and keep it on.
    #3 – The Dreaded Plateau
Even if you have been doing all the right things you will eventually come to a place where you stop dropping the pounds and just maintain. This happens when you hit a plateau.
    #4 – Consistency is Key
Are you being consistent with your weight loss efforts? Be honest with yourself and what you are doing to take the weight off.
    #5 – Impatience
It takes time to see weight loss. Have you given yourself enough time to see those results?

    @Saru
Along with exercise you need to take care of your diets. Have high fiber foods like Ragi ata, oat meal, fruits and salads.Try to have light dinners like Dalia, poha, upma etc. Ensure that your water intake is adequate.( atleast 10-12 glasses).

I want to lose 5-10 pounds preferably quickly. I already eat very healthfully (health shakes, lean meats, lots of fruits and vegetables, little fats) and know exercise is needed too in order to lose weight. If 1-2 hours is not enough daily, what is the recommended amount of exercise to get me to my goal in about a month or two?

Everyone knows what to do to lose fat, right? How come so few reach their goals and achieve that lean look if it's so damn easy to get ripped?

I could tell you the very same things as everybody else does, but I definitely won't. It's not only about the perfect diet plan and the right amount of exercise, the best supplements and so on; the most important part of a fat loss strategy is your mental approach to it. That's what I'm going to tell you about. Basically, what you got to do is sticking to your plan. Period.

First, let's suppose you do the following things already:

You do at least 6 cardie workouts a 40-60 minutes per week, preferably per-breakfast.
You eat 5-8 small meals per day, emphasizing proteins, healthy fats and vegetables.
You don't skip on the crabs post workout. (Take in 0.5 gram per pound of body weight.)
You get at least 6 hours of sleep almost every night.
If those are in order, you can get better results using these tips

Hi Saru, Ur diet and exercises goes hand in hand. Just doing cardio and not doing resistance exercises will again bounce ur wt. back.So to keep it steady u need to do combination of both exercises n diet too. Even Resistance training will improve your BMR so in turn burn more calories. So try this out n Best Of Luck.

I have three weddings coming up in November and I have given myself an incentive.. that i need to look HOT on those weddings. :P But idont know how.. would running on the treadmill help? is my target achievable.. ? 8-10 kgs in three months? Im sup to start gym this week... My problem areas are my tummy, upper back and ARMS.. theyve become fat! so all the fat is on my upper body.. :S any tips?
