From my experience the lazy kids are the ones that are fat and overweight. The only way for a kid to stay in shape is to go out and play with his friends. All these modern innovations such as X-Box and playstations are forcing the kids to stay inside the house and they do not get any exercise at all. This makes them lazy and overweight. Kids who play football, basketball or any other sport are more likely to be thinner and they are less likely to have any healthy problems. Parents have to make sure that they encourage their kids to be active.

Why diet for kids? If you are talking about a obese child, then fine. Otherwise you just need to get rid of all the junkies from your house, cut down on the frequency of outings at pizza huts and Mac Donalds etc. Instead opt for fresh fruits, and juices, decorate them with fancy stuff, make the child's food dish decorative and colorful and you can make the pizza's and burgers at home too by including all the vegetables you have.
