weight loss by dieting and exercising?

Hi,
i am going for gym for the past 2 weeks (skipped 4 days bcoz of pain). I also following the diet of my own reading from various places.

but here are the things i am doing daily.
around 7 am: 1 orange + 1/2 litre of water before workout in morning.
around 9-10am: 1 fruit plate (banana, water melon, chickoo, pineapple, honey)

11 am: take a milk / tea before lunch with 1/2 tbsl of sugar

1 pm: lunch (mini idli's with sambar). not many hotels in bangalore offer fat/oil less food in bangalore

3 pm: again tea
4pm-8pm: dates/ kelloggs speacial k as snacks when ever feeling hungry
9-10pm: tandoori Roti + dal + 1 litre of water

is this good enough?

    Hi Bala .. can you also mention your age height and weight , by the way , eating a small meal evry 2 hr will help u reduce better ... eg, time pattern of 1 pm , thn 3 pm, thn 5 pm will really work .. u can just have a multigrain biscuit (2 in no.) or a fruit or roasted chana.. these things are low in cal and gud in fibre which will help in losing gud weight .. also are u having anething with ur tea? as in biscuit or wheat rusk? if not plz incorporate that .. tea with nothing in combi will lead to acidity in long run. you can also start ur day and end your day with a glass of warm water and lemon , this will help in raising your BMR further.

    Hi Bala

    According to ur ht , u should be 65-67 kgs . U just follow what payal suggested . one more tips , drink bottle gourd juice (do not filter) in the early morning .this will help to wt loss . Drink minimum 3 liters of water per day .
