Initiating weight loss through dieting is a good proposition, and I guess you know this already. But what kind of diet are you looking to follow? Not any diet will work when it comes to weight loss, and some diets like low carb diets can be very harmful to the body overall. Never try your hand at crash diets, as these are sure to make you weaker and more fragile. The best way to lose weight is to combine dieting with proper exercise, as this way you'll be able to strike a fine balance. If you overdo either part, your body will start protesting.

Very true, In addition to above weight loss depends upon various factors such as age, your BMI and your lifestyle. The best way is to understand your body and target a weight loss which is achievable. Don't do any kind of crash diet. If possible take guidance from an diet expert.
