Weight Loss and Body Volume Loss

Hi ,
I am a 28 yrs old working women and 3 months back I was 72 kgs.With the help of an diet consultant I able to reduce 10 kgs.
But though I lost 10kgs , people around me are telling that I do not look like I lost 10 kgs.So weight loss is there but probably that much volume loss is not there.My outfit size has been reduced by 2 sizes.
So I want to know how much body volume loss should I expect ? what is the normal ratio ?

    Hi,

    Volume is there because you have just lost the fat (I don't know whether u used pure diet or other unnatural methods).

    What u need now is a toned body - which will automatically result in volume loss.
    Start doing some basic strength exercises, or do Yoga to tone up the muscles wherever you have lost the fat.

    Thanks a lot for your response.
    Just to inform you that I did not have any crush diet course. It was a proper diet plan and 30 mins per day walk combination.

    hi....
    Many a times the visible weight loss plays a role.....it is different for men and women...a person of decent height looses considerable weight at times is suddenly becomes visible....and one more point is people those who see us on a daily basis may not be able make out the differences very easily....photos taken before and after will be able to tell you and again also depends on the kind of dress one was wearing....!!!

    It is great if u hv really lost weight but it dsnt luk that u hv lost it coz it means that u hv lost fat on one hand & gained in muscles/lean mass on the other.One should never lose muscles but fat which could lead to weakness.Never,overtrain coz this may lead2muscle burning & it is slightly dangerous.Always,take a healthy diet when working out.Why listen2wt laymen say.U need2b happy & convinced of ur success,why bother about the world.Losing2much weight makes one lose the glow &charizma & may lead to weakness & loss of appetite.U can also pump iron2hv a much toned look,if u want & ev1cardios r ok for women.

    Congratulations for your achievement. As you have reduced fat that means you have decreased in volume too.
