    Hi Ritu,

It is quite usual to gain weight after any kind of long medication (accompanied with lot of rest sometimes). Do not worry about it. Go for atleast 30 minutes of low-intensity physical activity every day and try adding more and more fibres to your food. Have more of fruits, vegetables, Brown rice, Wheat Bran Roti, Oats etc. Avoid lot of carbs and fats in your dinner. Make your dinner very light (Daal Soup + Vegetables + Salad + Fruits).

Hi Ritu, with the above mentioned tips water also plays a very vital role in weight loss. As most of the medications can lead to water retention, water/ fluids like fruit or vegetable juices, buttermilk, soups, coconut water, etc help in reducing them. Keeping a good portion control is another way which impacts the calories that you consume.
