Urgent need to lose weight

Hi,

I need to loose my weight as soon as possible. My current weight is 73 and want to loose at least 10 kg. My height is 5'2 inch. I wake up at 07:00 am in the morning and do my household waork. My office hours are 09:30 to 07:00. At 7 i go to gym and start my exercise till 7:45 or 08:00 pm.

My daily routine of food intake is as below:

Daily 10 to 12 glass of water.

Morning
1. One glass warm water with lemon and honey.

Mid Morning
1. Orange Juice
2. Milk / Tea with sugar

Lunch
1. Roti without ghee (1)
2. Sabji (1 small bowl)
3. Salad (1 Big bowl)

Evening
1. Apple

Dinner
1. Mix Veg Soup (2 Medium bowls)
2. One glass of warm water

And gym 5 days a week for 45 min.

I do 25 min walking, 20 min cycling and some stretches.

But still i am not able to loose weight. Please help me. What changes shall i make in my diet.

On sunday i keep my self free from diet. I eat what i enjoy but in limited quantity.

    Hi dhara shah,

    At present what u maintaining is good , but little changes in ur diet pattern. As u taking warm water with lemon is fine but avoid honey,salt , sugar.Don't go for mono diet try to include more variety which is low calories diet like brown bread s/w , veg upma , rave idli, broken wheat upma , brown rice pulao, multigrain biscuits , diet biscuits , oats porridge , corn flakes with skimmed milk , fruits salad , veg salad , sprouts salad , skimmed milk coffee/ tea . instead of taking juices go for whole fruits in the midmorning. Change your exercise patter also like go for brisk walk (30mins), cycling or cardiac - 30 mins . At early morning take 1 glass of bottle gourd juice(Lauki)(no sugar, salt, honey , do not filter it) add little mint leaves , pepper.Green tea is better

    You should talk to a nutritionist. I don't know anything about the foods you have listed, but it could be that you are not taking in enough calories. If you don't eat enough, your body will go into preservation mode and store fat.

    Sounds like you work out often enough and long enough, just make sure you get your heart rate up in your target zone so that you are burning fat. Also, you should add strength training because the added muscle helps burn more fat faster.

    I started the P90x fitness program this year and have lost most of my fat, am down 2 sizes. It comes with a great nutrition plan to help you. You also are assigned a coach (free) who will help you. There are many other programs by the same company that a lot of people are getting great results from. Let me know if you are interested and i can put you in touch with my coach who can tell you about the programs. They workouts are fun, and THEY WORK!! as long as you DO them :-)

    try zumba u will sweat and u won't feel like u r workingout.its not boring at all.its a dance workout and u will enjoy.i started in the end of january and its working.

    you should concentrate on losing weight and your office timing is too much.So try to lose weight in office activities also

    we all want to see results quick but weight loss does not happen overnight .be patient and be happy and exercise regularly,if u stress u will gain weight and also eat more protien and eat often like 5 to 6 small meals.and remember u r not alone in the weight loss journey.u will see results if u continue to eat healthy and exercise,and u will be glad u did it,i have to lose 20 pounds i started on 25th jan and i am eating healthy like egg whites ,protien shakes salads,daal roti but portion size,haven't loss much yet but i will coz i can see changes in my body,so don't stop keep going u will achieve success for sure.
