Tea has many properties but I am not sure whether it has any weight loss properties. Tea is well known for helping the digestive process. Green tea and Chinese tea are good options. You can consume a cup of tea after every meal to make sure that your digestive process is on track. Also remember that too much tea is not good for you, so stick to around three or four cups a day. There are several types of tea such as jasmine tea and mint tea that you can try as well. A glass of normal milk tea is the preferred option for many people.

Green tea helps you lose weight. Of course it won’t be “20 pounds in one week”, but green tea has been scientifically proven to burn calories and block fat absorption. It contains high amounts of polyphenols which activate the enzyme that is responsible for dissolving excess triglyceride. In the long run, this means that green tea effectively aids in burning fat. It burns calories, increases your energy, and builds muscle which in turn boosts your metabolism even higher.

No if you take normal tea 2 cups a day, it will cause no harm that too with skimmed milk.
