Need to Lose 10kg in 2 months

I need to try and lose weight within the next 8 to 10 weeks. I have managed to lose almost 10Kg but am focusing and struggling a little to lose the next.

I run approx 35mins a day and carry out approx 500 skips twice a week & swim once a week. I drink 2 litres of water, eat healthy portions of fruit and very limited bread, roti or sabjies - yet i intake alot of lentils and rice.

Any additional tips to help..... please - I'm from the UK.

    First congrats for losing 10Kgs :)

    You may want to try negative calorie foods. I have replaced my night meal with portions of Papaya, pineapple, carrots, cucumbers, which has helped me in bringing my weight down (I have also increased my physical activity).

    See if any other physical activity interests you and add it to your routine.

    Dont loose focus, keep it going for next 10kgs.

    Hi Kam,
    You r on the right track.To add on I will suggest you to start your day with warm lemon water.Replace normal water with warm water,especially before and after the exercise.Try to have high protein foods, like lentils, in the lunch,when your metabolic rate is high .For rice cook it ,cool it and reheat twice before consuming so that the starch in it becomes resistant starch.

    I'm not sure if you are familiar with a weight loss programme called Slimming World here in the UK - but Ive be doing this since March time its really interesting its all about Food Optimising. But over the last 4 weeks I have only managed to lose 1.5Lbs...... This has been extremely frustrating. I'm going on holiday to Duabi in July and was hoping to lose the last bit so that I will look good on the beach lol ;-)

    But its all come to a holt annoying I must admit there maybe days where I havent been 100% on track but I will not deprive my body of something if it wants it.

    As Kiran said I have now stated drinking lemon in hot water first thing in the morning, and I now bring lemon to work too so that I can drink it in my 2 litres of water. I also drink Green Tea, Dandelion Tea and White Tea.. all which are good for detoxification

    I have a 3 year old son and I work full time so I can only do limited exercise but the weather here is getting better so I may try and get up at 4am and go for a run so that in the evening I can perhaps take him out for an even stroll after dinner.

    Shikha - I will try that with the rice too.. any tips which can help me lose the weight, I was a slim size UK 10 before having my son, I went up to a 16 and have manged to come back down to a 12/14. But I want my old body back before I have another baby...

    I would try and do it naturally - its not healthy to use things such as pills, i have tried adios and a few others... but they only work if you exercise and healthy eating there is no such things as weight loss with just taking pills. hope is helps... I have exercise and healthy eating - and it prevents weight fluctuation

    Hi Kam,
    I appreciate that you want to do it naturally,bcoz that is the most sustainable method in long run.I know its very difficult to lose weight after motherhood bcoz your body is programmed to store fat during and after pregnancy.Plateu stage suggest that you should alter your exercise with a different options like one day swimming or running,someday cardio another day weight and strenghth training etc.Don't take sugar,rice ,refined flours for few days.Try some different diet plan which your body is not use to.

    Hi again...

    Yes this is what i am now doing, no bread, roti, more lentils Fat Free Yoghurts. Lol of speed fruits such as melon, pineapples, straberries and oranges.

    Also Fat Free Flavoured yoghurts - I'm have cut out oil foods. People say i have lost weight when i see them but clothes wise i seem to be the same. I can only try

    I am 5'5'' and i weigh 75 kgs.
    i used to weigh 64 -3 years before,
    i suffered from harmonal imbalance.
    now i am doin good.

    i want to lose 10kgs in 4 months.
    i know its possible and a slow goal.

    Hey Kam Kaur,
    Its really nice to see your efforts going well and achieved more than half of the goal what actually you were looking for. You are having healthy food and activity wise you are going good. Just try out some hot yoga for your next session. It would work better for weight and fat loss.
