Necessary to have Calcium/ vitamin supplements during weight loss?

Hi,
I read somewhere that during weight loss it is essential to have Calcium and Vitamin supplements. I am a bit afraid that if I have these supplements say ShelCal 500 tabs and Becadaxamine tab, 1 each per day it should not adversely affect my weight loss. Since we are trying to limit calorie intake to 1200 cal/day, will taking these supplements add calories?

    hi Mihir,

no not really, these supplements wouldnt add clories .. but i alwys ask my patient to stick to natural supplements like for eg, if you consume 2 glasses of milk every day and say curd and ragi in some amount , you dont need to artifivially supplement calcium to your body , unless you and your expert believe you are deficient already.

when on weight loss, we anywaz consume a lot of raw veggies , fruits and sprouts which are high in vitamins therefore these suppleents arnt required if you maintain a good quantity intake of these items. i specifically prescribe lemon water to my clients for weight loss.. as vitamin c plays a crutial role in looking good and the gloow of the face to remain while you lose weight.

taking these supplements should not be harmful .. but natural ways are anyday better ... !
