    There are separate weight loss tips for overweight individuals and obese individuals; the process is the same for everyone. But since you're a diabetic, you should take caution when it comes to eating food items and should ensure that your blood sugar levels remain constant. If insulin levels rise in the body, losing weight will become very hard. You may not have to work too hard to lose weight, as diabetics sometimes normally lose weight without even trying. This is because high levels of sugar will lead to frequent urination and dehydration, resulting in weight loss. Keep your body hydrated.

    Obesity and Diabetics are closely related to each other, together this can lead to various complications and affect the quality of life. Here are some of the tips to lose weight in diabetic individuals:
    * Exercise regularly as it helps in improving insulin sensitivity thereby effectively helping you to manage your blood glucose levels.
    * Focus more on aerobic exercises rather than strength training.
    * Prefer low to moderate levels of aerobic exercises rather than doing higher intensity exercises. High intensity exercises can be stressful which can further raise you glucose levels.
    *Include proper warm up and cool down in your exercises regime.
    * Don't exercise when your blood sugar is more than 240.

    Hi

    Diet tips :

    Have small regular Meals at least 4-5times a day.
    * Consume 8 to 10 glasses of water
    * Eating Fresh Fruits and Vegetables in the form of salads.
    * Mix 25% of bran (chokar) and 25% of Soya Flour in your flour to make chapati.
    * Switch to skimmed milk.
    * Have maximum of 2 cups of Coffee or Tea a day
    * All kind vegetables 7 green leafy is good for diabetes expect potato, yam, sweet potato.
    * Allowed fruits:
    * Orange, Apple, Mausambi(Sweet Lime), Tarbooj(Water Melon), Kharbooja(Musk Melon), Nashpati(Pear), Kiwi, Amrood(Guava), Anaar(Pomegranate),
    * Avoid fruits like Chiku(Sapota), Pine apple, Mango, Lychee, Banana. You should consume only 100-150 gm in a day. If u have high sugar level then avoid fruits.
    * Avoid Fasting or Feasting. Don’t starve. Don’t overeat, avoid junk foods.
    * Avoid Late dinners and skipping breakfasts.
    * Avoid sugar, oily , junk foods.
    * Use very less salt.
    * Exercise for 45mins in a day.

    Hey Mitchell,
    Exercises are very useful to all the peoples with diabetes. Most of the points have been discussed above. Just the diabetic peoples need to take care about the proper shoes for exercising. And Diabetic neuropathy would lead to decreased sensation in feet and you may land up injuring your foot. Have a thorough examination of your feet every 4 hours in a day to avoid delayed treatment as healing takes time for diabetic peoples.

    1. stop taking sugar in all form
    2. stop eating rice, you can eat but only if they are washed 3-4 time during cooking , wash out all its sugar or starch.
    3.stop taking fats or oils in all form, but you can cook food in olive oil.
    4.skip dinner most of the time in a week, but take fruits or brown bread with tomatos and cucumber."
