    Vermicelli is commonly eaten as a breakfast dish in India. It is low in calorie and nutritious. It has a good blend of proteins, calcium, iron, carbohydrates and minerals. It is available in wheat and rice variants. Wheat vermicelli is a healthier options. You can boost the nutrient contents by adding veggies and seasoning with mustard and curry leaves. It is also prepared as a sweet dish with milk and sugar, seasoned with dry fruits and nuts. If you are calorie conscious, add sugar sparingly. Also when you are making it as a breakfast dish, be careful on the amount of oil you add.

    Vermicelli is common food for breakfast or dinner but it is not good for fat loss. If it is ragi vermicelli then it is good & nutritional food for all.
