    Hi Sanjay,

Thyroid plays a very vital role in the body's metabolism, which is directly related to ur weight loss/ weight gain. When the body's ability to produce the hormone is limited, there is a reduction in metabolism and subsequent weight gain can occur.

It becomes a big challenge during this phase. Look into this article, which includes few tips to help you lose weight when you are suffering from Hypothyroidism:

exercising is a good way of keeping your thyroid secretions actiove , try to exercise as often as possible.
avoid foods which are considered to be goitrogens like cabbage, palak, brocholli, these further hamper the thyroid secretions,
having warm water and lemon 2-3 times a day has also thought to be beneficial in improving thyroid secretion as well as it helps in weight maintainance.

    Hi Sanjay...
Weight gain is a very normal issues with the hypothyroidism individuals. You have to be counsious with your diet and exercises. You have to improve your metabolism by having 5-6 mini meals in a day. Make a habit og regular exercises especially cardio training for 45 min in a day and alternate days of weight training exercises. This type of programme would help you to reach your goal. But it would take time to see results , so keep patience.
