Hip and thighs are the most targeted sites for the fat deposition in the body. This falls under the gynoid type obesity which is very common in women. If you are obese or overweight, try to shed the extra kilos from the body which will also work and reduce fat from your hips. The shedding of the extra weight can be done with the increase in physical activity, regular exercises and lifestyle and diet modification. Regular exercises include moderate to high aerobics like skipping, walking, running, jumping, jogging etc. and strengthening exercises like squats, static quads, leg curls, dead lifts, lunges etc. will help to burn calories and strengthen the leg muscles. Have a close watch on your caloric intake, avoid fried, preserved, grilled foods and include more of fruits, roughage and fiber.
