It was not long ago that I realized that whenever I get stressed out I began adding some weight. I never realized that I was experiencing the metabolic syndrome. This results because of chemical imbalance which causes the rate of metabolism to drop. Stress caused my blood sugar levels to go down resulting in metabolic rates dipping leading to weight gain and storage of fat. The best way not to store fat is to eat wisely, exercise and avoid stress. I learnt how to eat healthy wholesome nutritious diets that contain fresh fruits and vegetables along with whole grains and good fats. I broke up my main meals to eat every 3 hours. This helped raise my metabolism and no storage of fat ever occurred.
