    Loosing 300-500 calories a day will help to reduce half kg -1 kg at the end of the week .so loosing weight all depends upon the calories burning in a day and calories intake in a diet.So if you are planning to improve weight loss we need to cut down the calories intake and burn more calories in exercises so as to loose 4-5 kg of weight at the end of a month. Also increasing muscle mass may help to even boost BMR and also to burn more calories.

    Hi Surabhi,
    There is no difference between loosing weight for men and for women but only thing is men could loose weight more easily then women due to metabolism and active lifestyle. But loosing weight in just a week wont be possible as if you are beginner to exercises then it will take a week time for our body to get used to exercises. So dont expect any sudden results in a week. Be counsious and have a healthy weight loss rather than taking short cuts to weight loss like crash diets, etc.
